Pastoral Council

"Through their baptism and confirmation, all are commissioned to that apostolate by the Lord Himself. Now, the laity are called in a special way to make the Church present and operative in those places and circumstances where only through them can she become the salt of the earth" (Vat II: Dogmatic Constitution on the Church Lumen Gentium, 33).

The Pastoral Council is a group of individuals chosen by both the parish community and the pastor to serve as advisors to the pastor. The council consists of people who represent and serve as liaisons for specific parish ministries.

Finance Council

The Finance Council acts as financial stewards of the community's monetary resources. Their governing values are prudency and financial transparency.

The key functions of the council are:

• Financial decision making
• Oversight of St. Elizabeth Business Manager
• Interaction with outside auditors
• Periodic financial updates to St. Elizabeth community
